1. Preheat. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 to 5 minutes to help ensure even cooking.
2. Arrange the patties. Place the frozen patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overlapping. Lightly spray with cooking oil for crispiness if desired.
3. Cook and Flip. Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes, flipping the patties halfway through to ensure even cooking.
4. Add cheese (optional). Add a slice of cheese in the last 1–2 minutes of cooking to melt.
5. Check for doneness. Cook until golden brown and crispy, with an internal temperature of at least 165°F (74°C) for safety.
6. Serve. Let the patties rest before serving on buns with toppings.
